RESTRICTIONS ON VALIDATION AND VERIFICATION WORK

Under the previous Gold Standard (GS) assurance model, SustainCERT acted as a Certification Body. However, with the transition to Gold Standard’s new assurance model, SustainCERT’s certification activities are being phased out between December 5, 2024, and April 30, 2025.

To prevent conflicts of interest, SustainCERT shall not provide Validation or Verification services to Project Developers or Coordinating/Managing Entities (CMEs) who are currently using SustainCERT as their Certification Body. This restriction will remain in place until April 30, 2025, when the transition to Gold Standard’s internal assurance model is complete.
